All meetings will start and finish at Wightman Hall unless otherwise advised; further details will follow for some activities.

This term we will be focusing on the Explore and Adventure activity badges and the Outdoor Challenge badge. Here are the details of our planned activities for this term.

15/04/10 - Scavenger Hunt. The children will be split into 4 teams and sent off to search for hidden letters to spell out a mystery word. - Adventure Activity

22/04/10 - St Georges Day. We will be designing shields to celebrate St. Georges Day.

29/04/10 - Design a Park. We will be looking at maps and using them as a base to design our own imaginary outdoor space. - Outdoor Challenge

06/05/10 - Be Prepared. We will learn a bit about knots and compasses and how to pack a rucksack for a day in the countryside. - Outdoor Challenge

13/05/10 - Things to look for at the park. As part of our Explore badge we will be discussing where we will visit next week and what we expect to find there. Explore Activity

20/05/10 – Visit Rushcliffe Country Park. We have booked a ranger and will hopefully be able to use their Sensory Trail. - Adventure Activity and Outdoor Challenge

27/05/10 – Report back and games. - Review our exploring expectations and talk about our best bits. - Explore Activity.

03/06/10 – Half Term

10/06/10 – World Cup Sweepstake and strips. Each child will pick a country out of a hat to follow during the wold cup, and design a strip for them.

17/06/10 – Father's Day Somethings.

24/06/10 – Football party. The children can wear their football kits or shorts and t-shirt. We will be playing penalty shootout and may face paint.

01/07/10 – Matchbox scavenger hunt. Weather permitting we will be collecting small stuff from outside the hut to see who can fit the most in a matchbox. - Adventure Activity

08/07/10 – Parachute. Play parachute games outside the hut.

15/07/10 – Decorating biscuits

22/07/10 – Visit Run Riot.
